Uniform Policy
- All clothing must be Islamically appropriate and loose fitting.
- The goal and mission of the Uniform policy is to have all Al-Furqan Academy students dressed uniformly with full understanding of what is Islamically appropriate.
- The uniforms are available online as well as local departmental stores.
BOYS UNIFORM
General requirement:
- All tops will be full sleeve – no exception
- Kufi of any color.
- Socks: white, black or navy blue
- Shoes: sneakers (no sandals, no slides or shoes with design) – parents are requested to avoid name brand sneakers to teach simplicity and uniformity among all students
Monday to Thursday:
- Dark navy-blue long sleeve shirt needs to be bought from school.
- Khaki color relaxed or plain front, dress pants (no Jeans, Cargo, Jogger or Carpenter pants). The pants should be loose enough to be able to sit down while practicing Qur’an.
Friday:
- Full sleeve white color kandura/thobe (shin level top) with white or uniform pants inside.
GIRLS UNIFORM
General requirement:
- Socks: white, black or navy blue
- Shoes: sneakers (no sandals, slides or shoes with design or heels) – parents are requested to avoid name brand sneakers to teach simplicity and uniformity among all students.
- Girls cannot wear make-up, perfume, nail polish, and excessive jewelry.
Elementary School
Monday to Thursday:
- Khaki jumper and khaki dress pants (No Cargo, Jeans or Carpenter pants),
- Dark navy-blue color long sleeve knit or polo shirt.
- Hijab (any color) required for ALL girls. Hijabs should be pull-on and plain with no sparkly work.
Friday:
- Black or navy-blue color full sleeve closed front plain abaya with any loose fit pants. (No tights or leggings)
- Hijab (any color) required for ALL girls. Hijabs should be pull-on and plain with no sparkly work.
Middle and High School
- Black or navy-blue color full sleeve closed front plain abaya with any loose fit pants. (No tights or leggings)
- Hijab (any color) required for ALL girls. Hijabs should be plain with no sparkly work.
